Ken Silvestri 
Cyclist, Barefoot water-skier, Hydrofoiler, Ice Skater,
Marathon Speed Skier, Scuba Diving, Kayaker, Fast Cars and Boats, Fishing to
name a few!
Ken is an
accomplished water-skier of over 40 years and like the rest of the team enjoys
extreme water sports including barefoot skiing and hydrofoiling.

Ken is also an Ultra Cyclist who has competed in many Ultra
Marathon Cycling races and RUSA events. A 2006 BMB finisher and two-time Super
Randonneur. Ken is an experienced long distance cyclist competing in Ultra
events from 200 to 750 miles. He has cycled from Niantic to Tampa, Canada 4
times and across the USA to California in 2008.

Ken has also completed many other 24 hour or more endurance
cycling events .
Ken is also lucky to
be supported by his wife Deborah who along with the other Team members wifes
has to put up with all his crazy sports. Married over 30 years ago underwater
at the Mystic Marinelife aquarium! First couple to be married underwater in an
Aquarium.

Ultra Cyclist, Motocross Rider, Water-skier, Ice Skater,
Kayaker
As an Ultra Cyclist Joe has competed in various Ultra
Marathon Cycling Races and RUSA cycling events. A 2006 BMB
(Boston-Montréal-Boston) finisher and a Super Randonneur three years in a row.

He is an accomplished and strong endurance cyclist
competing in events from 200 to 750 miles. Remember the clock does not stop in
an Ultra Event!

Joe rode with the team three times in their" 5
states in 24 hours event". Having ridden in Connecticut, Rhode Island,
Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont all within 24 hours!

His other interests include ice-skating, kayaking and
water-skiing. Joe also is active in with his son in Boy Scouts and is an
assistant Scout Leader.
He is a licensed union plumber and a member of Local 777 in
Connecticut
Happily married Joe is always supported by his wife
Mary-Jane and his 13 year old son Kyle.

ATV Riding, Kayaking
Tim is another experienced long distance cyclist. Having
completed every single cyclo-tour the team has ridden. Including 4 trips to
Canada, Niantic to Tampa and the 2008 Wild West Tour Niantic to Oceanside,
California
In 2007 and 2011 he rode in all 5 New England states with-in
a 24 hour period during a RUSA event. Passing through Connecticut, Rode
Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.
Along with the other team members Tim enjoys most extreme water
sports. He is a terrific hydrofoiler always ready to put on a "big air
show".

Some of his is other interests include sailing, ice skating,
water-skiing, ATV riding and kayaking.
Tim is a self-employed building contractor. Owner of the
Carpentry Company he has constructed many spectacular homes over the years and
is an accomplished cabinetmaker.
His son Justin and daughter Emily support him in all his
sporting activities.

Mike is a true competitor whether it be
windsurfing Gorge or sailboat racing off Newport. His completive sprit and
drive has followed him in work and sport.
Surfing the shores of Rhode Island started
Mike's athletic career at 15 years old. He then spent the next six years as a lifeguard
where he honed his swimming skills.
His love of the water next led him to the
sport of windsurfing.
From windsurfing he moved into sailboat
racing progressing up to the Division 1 Racing Series.
For over three years Mike traveled across
the country racing a 1D 35 sailboat. After each race the boat would be hauled
and prepared for shipping to the next race.

He pushed his athletic abilities further to
include running and cycling, competing in 5 Triathlons.
For the past 20 years mike has traveled the
world in search of wind and wave. West Indies, Puerto Rico, Venezuela,
Margarita Island, Cocha Island, Costa Rica, Washington, Florida, California
just to name a few.
A hard core competitor who can be found in New England’s cold Decembers waters if the wind or waves are working.
When winter takes hold Mike moves his
activity to the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire where he enjoys Alpine
skiing.
Mike is an aggressive strong cyclist who
has been cycling for over 26 years. A cancer survivor who can boast he has
ridden with Lance Armstrong!
Mike enjoys many other sports including hunting, skiing, and surfing with his two sons Charley and Mikey.
He is currently the Faculties Director of
Monsanto Corporation in Mystic Connecticut.

Jean-Pierre Crozet 
Pro-Cyclist, Alpine Skiier
The oldest member of the crew is never to be taken lightly.
A skilled and powerful European cyclist will humble riders half his age. Having competed in cycling races in the Swiss
Alps he is no stranger to big climbs. He
is also a talented cycling mechanic and wheel builder.
An expert snow skier and previous member of the Okemo Ski
Patrol.
Having owned many bicycles over the years he is presently
riding a Campy equipped Colnago.

Jay Sullivan 
Cyclist, windsurfer, ice skater, water-skier, barefooter
and kayaker.
Jay is a strong cyclist and water-sports enthusiast. He is
a first class barefoot water-skier, wakeborder and slalom skier calling the
Niantic River home for years.

Ready to rip up some
wake!
When it comes to kayaking this is another sport where he
excels. Whether it is endurance paddling to Fishers Island, NY from the
Connecticut shore and back or just cruising the ocean. Jay can always be found
in his kayak during the summer months. A four time kayak race winner Jay
Sullivan is always a contender
Jay also enjoys rollerblading and can always be found
regularly skating the Roller Rink in Groton or Ocean Beach New London.

He proudly rides a
Campy equipped Pinarello and Litespeed bicycles.

Ultra Cyclist, hydrofoiler, water-skiier, kayaker, ice
skater
Kelley has competed in many UMCA and RUSA cycling events
ranging from 200 to 750 miles. He was 2006 BMB finisher. The BMB or Boston
Montréal Boston 1200K is a 750 mile cycling event where the clock does not
stop! Ouch! He is RUSA Super Randonneur cyclist.

KB is an experienced distance-touring cyclist having ridden
in all of our previous long distance tours.
As the rest of the
Eliminator Cycling Team he also excels in most water sports.

His other interests include kayaking, ice-skating and
swimming. You can always count on him to be there at the finish line.
Kelley proudly rides Campy equipped Litespeed and Cannondale
bicycles.

Herb “H-Bomb” Petersen 
Cyclist, triathlete, water-skier, hydrofoiler, speedskiier
Along with many other sporting activities Herb is an
experienced endurance cyclist. HP has competed in Ultra Marathon and RUSA
events. He rode the Fleche covering all 5 New England states in 24 hours.
He is also an expert Hydrofoiler twisting out flips with
nosebleed heights off the water. Hard to beat Herb is a proficient water-skier
and barefooter.

England YEAR ROUND!!! That's right year round.
Along with many other sporting activities Herb is an
experienced endurance cyclist. HP has competed in Ultra Marathon and RUSA

He has competed in triathlons and other running events. Some
of his other interests are snow skiing and ice-skating.
He is backed up by his supportive wife Wendy and two
beautiful children Tim and Heidi.

Al Nebelung 
Cyclist, water-skier, ice skater.
Al is a powerful cyclist who has rode in several RUSA
events. A hill climbing specialist he is hard to beat when on a bike.
He is also proficient slalom water-skier having skied for
over 30 years.
His other interest includes swimming, skating and hiking.
Al is one of the Teams motivators and keeps us riding.

He is also an

Scott has done
extensive cycling and rode in the Tri-State 175 and competed in the The New
England 12/24. He also rode with the Eliminator Team to Canada.
Scott owns and operates the Village Bake House in Niantic Connecticut which often feeds team members to their delight.
